Attorney and Investment Advisor (Summit Guide)

Brigham Young University, B.S. in Finance (Cum Laude), BYU - J. Reuben Clark Law School, Law – J.D.

Whether offering legal guidance or advice on investment matters, I always strive to use my talents, experience, and insights to improve people’s lives. I’ve been honored to run my own eponymous law practice and perhaps even more surprisingly, I’ve had the rare privilege of entertaining and inspiring others around the world as a musical performer.

At JohnstonRogers, I guide business owners and advise individuals on the intricacies of estate and retirement planning. This involves uncovering opportunities and sidestepping risks; all in an effort to help clients achieve greater peace of mind for the journey ahead.

The best piece of advice that I’ve been given is “you can never have too many friends,” followed closely by this great truth: “it doesn’t cost you anything to be nice to people.” The most inspiring part of my job is helping prevent future problems before they arise.

If you asked my friends or coworkers what my superpower is, they’d probably say that it’s my ability to make people feel that they are truly understood and valued, right away.

If I wasn’t an attorney or investment advisor, I’m pretty sure I’d be a professional singer. Outside of work, my passions involve traveling and serving others. Whether that means working in a Ugandan AIDS clinic writing wills for terminally ill patients, performing solo for Syrian refugees in Germany, or touring across the world and spreading messages of hope and light with my bandmates in Jericho Road, I always love to serve other people.
